The model:  John grew up watching hydros in the mid-60s and this hull was one of his favorites running as Miss Bardahl in 1968. John debuted this beautiful boat at the 2021 Muncey Cup and ran it in four races during the year. It continue to perform well and is becoming very competitive and consistent. Steady improvement is expected as John starts experimenting and pushing the boat harder. John is a good driver, a super nice guy and was awarded CT Rookie of the Year honors in 2021.

The real boat:  This boat started life as the Miss Bardahl, winning the championship in 1968. After Ole Bardahl retired from racing in 1969, it ran as Miss Budweiser II and Miss U.S. in 1970. In 1971, it crashed and sank in the Ohio River as Hallmark Homes.
