The model:  Built for Division 3 as Mike's backup boat as it also had an easier hull design to work on. Since real boat was an older hull outfitted with a canopy, it was less complicated to build. Besides, this is Mike's type of boat, having only raced one year with this sponsor. Mike is drawn to the more obscure boats. Mike ran the boat at only one race so far, the 2021 Gold Cup.

The real boat:  The boat was equipped with a Rolls Royce Merlin engine during a time when most boats were turbine powered. Jack Berrie was its driver. He said that the boat was loud but when the canopy was closed, it was even louder for him in the boat. He loved it! It qualified at Seafair, but failed to score points on race day.
